SDL Connections was founded by Steven Lakin, a business development professional with experience across construction and infrastructure.

Over the course of my career, I've built long-standing relationships with contractors, consultants, suppliers and other key stakeholders across the built environment.

My approach is simple: understand the business, identify where the opportunities are, and use the right relationships to turn those opportunities into commercial results.

The built environment remains at the core of what I do, but my approach isn't limited to one industry. The same principles, building genuine relationships, understanding a client's commercial goals, and opening the right doors apply just as well elsewhere, and I now work with a growing number of businesses beyond construction who want to grow their pipeline and raise their profile.
